Quality Control Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Source of Asia is looking for a Quality Specialist to support our international clients in monitoring product quality and supplier performance across Vietnam.

In this role, you will act as the bridge between overseas customers and local manufacturers, ensuring products meet quality standards, customer requirements, and delivery expectations.

Product categories include:

·       Indoor & Outdoor Furniture

·       Ceramic / Cement / Stone Products

·       Handicrafts & Home Decoration

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Quality Control & Factory Inspection

·       Conduct factory visits and product inspections during production and before shipment.

·       Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

·       Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and follow up corrective actions with suppliers.

·       Prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to customers and internal teams.

2.    Product Development & Supplier Management

·       Follow up product development from sampling stage to mass production.

·       Review product specifications, materials, workmanship, and packaging requirements.

·       Work closely with suppliers to ensure products meet quality, safety, and compliance standards required by European and American markets.

·       Support testing activities and coordinate with third-party laboratories when needed.

3.    Customer & Supplier Coordination

·       Act as the key contact between customers and factories regarding quality-related matters.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

·       Negotiate and resolve quality concerns in a professional and practical manner.

·       Support customer visits and factory audits when required.

·       3-5 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Sourcing, or Manufacturing.

·       Experience in furniture, handicrafts, home decoration, ceramic, cement, or related industries.

·       Strong knowledge of product quality standards and manufacturing processes.

·       Familiarity with quality requirements for European and American markets is preferred.

·       Good communication and negotiation skills when working with suppliers and customers.

·       Willing to travel frequently to factories across Vietnam.

·       Good command of English, both written and spoken.

·       Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.

• Working days: Monday to Friday.
• Office working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. However, due to the nature of the role, which involves frequent collaboration with factories, working hours may be adjusted based on factory schedules.
